Online government auction houses have began to spring up more and more over the last few years, with a great many people turning to the internet as their first source of information when looking into buying a (nearly) new vehicle. Of course you have to be very careful when buying any kind of item at an online auction, as there are countless scam artists out there wanting nothing more than to take your money and run, leaving you with a product that is substandard or maybe even wildly different from the item you thought you were purchasing.

When it comes to online auction sales, they are no exception. So just what is it that you have to do to make sure that you avoid all of the common pitfalls associated with buying something as valuable as a car online?

To start with, it is advisable to make sure that you only purchase expensive goods online from a recognized dealer or online government auction. That doesn’t mean you have to pay a premium price for your used car, but it does mean you should probably avoid problematic sites such as eBay, because even though they may be well recognized as an online auction house, you are actually buying from an individual, who may or may not be being entirely honest when it comes to listing their item. Similar problems arise through the use of ad websites, such as Market Trader or Craigslist, which are online auctions. It is possible to get a good deal from an online auction from such places, but its almost always far more effort than its worth.

There is however, a little known secret to buying cars, and its been around a lot longer than you may think. When looking for an online car auction from which to purchase your dream machine, by far the best route to take is to ensure you are buying from an online government auto auction. These cheap car auctions deal mostly in repossessed vehicles, though you can also find online government surplus auctions where they are selling off vehicles that have hardly ever been used before (sometimes they will even still be within their warranty period).

What that means to you as a buyer, is that through the use of specialist websites you can find and purchase your ideal vehicle from an online government auction, and only have to step outside of your house in order to go pick it up, sometimes not even then. You can make purchases worry free with all the confidence that comes along with buying your vehicle direct from the government online auction. These machines are very well serviced, generally also coming with a full logbook history, and what’s more, they will often sell for less than half the price the same car would have sold for brand new. You can get all kinds of recognized brand names, whatever it is you’ve set your heart on your sure to find the right car for you at a government online auction.

Don’t waste money on a broken down second hand vehicle, get quality nearly new machines at a recognized online government car auction taking place near you.

If you’ve been planning to get yourself a new car, then you might want to head to any online government car auction in your area. This is a great way for you to see pre-owned vehicles of nearly all classes offered to the public at a budget-friendly price despite being in top running condition. In fact, some of these vehicles have only been used for a few months that they could pass on as brand new.

The main reason why the government sponsors  the government car auction , and the online government auction regularly is to liquidate any vehicles that are no longer needed. These vehicles come from a whole range of sources such as seized assets, or repossessed due to criminal offenses and tax evasions. In some cases, these vehicles come from lending institutions who have seized the vehicles from non-paying customers. Also, when the government officials replace their old cars with new ones, they are displayed on the online government auction to be made open for public purchase.

The ability to make money is not usually the main motivation for lending agencies for joining an online government car auction since most of them basically just want to dispose them off. However, this serves as a perfect hunting ground for those who wanted to secure the best deals when it comes to buying new vehicles. But you must be aware that you need to do a few things first before heading to the government online auction.

You can start off by determining what type of vehicle you want ‘ whether it is an SUV, sedan, or pickup, among others. Once you have decided on that, do some research to get as much information about its performance data and current market value to give you advantage on the bidding process. You can use government online auction directories to easily find the information you need since you cannot afford to go out there not armed with such information. You will be able to enjoy the rewards for your effort someday once you are driving your dream car that comes with reliable performance and bought at an affordable price tag from the government online auction.

Although not known to many, online government auctions offer a preview period about a week or few days prior to the event. This is done in order to let interested buyers have the opportunity to look into what they can expect from the government online auction. Therefore, you need to list down all the vehicles you want from the ones on display such that you can easily narrow it down later on once you have physically examined those vehicles on-site at the government car auctions. This feature should give you a huge advantage going in since you already have an idea on which vehicles to keep a close eye on.

When you go to the actual venue on the day of the online auction, your objective is to gather further information to finalize your decision on which car to buy or bid on. Do not forget to ask specific questions about a particular vehicle you contemplate on buying at the government online auction. However, you need to exercise caution too and take the time to examine the vehicle yourself.

You have the ability to secure great deals that lets you enjoy major savings at the online government car auction. You cannot go in there expecting that your choice of car will be handed over to you. Remember: there are multiple other interested buyers with the same goal as you, so you need to think ahead of them. If you did enough research and preparation beforehand, then you could easily snag your ideal car for an attainable price tag at the online government auction.

I’ve seen a lot of ads out their for a "penny auction" called Quibids and thought it looked interesting. So I as many other did, and went online and tried to do a little research. From what I can see is a bunch of pissed off people crying foul. They say its using bots, employees, and even other user account names to drive bids up. I remember Ebay was accused of doing this as well. I’m not saying they are and im sure its a good deal for those who win. I tried to find out which company made their software to look into them but came up with nothing other than a bunch of scary looking rip offs.

My question is, isn’t there a way for the government to tell? Doesn’t the FTC or anyone look into these things. And if a company did make their software, wouldn’t that company be liable as well? Also, is there any good "penny auction" sites to go to and try to win? And if so, which ones and who made their software? Is the software company reputable with an ACTUAL PHONE NUMBER based in the U.S that complies with the law?

If anyone knows, please let me as well. It does look like it can be fun even if you dont win.

Thanks

If u can just look up the website on google cuz when u type it through google it comes as one of the top websites and is like highlitghted, and all the highlighted stuff is things u can trust right? I am driving from Houston to Chicago tomorrow morning to pick a 2007 Chevy Tahoe from a small car lot. They emailed a copy of the title but it is purple. Not sure if that is the color of a clean title. I have tried searching online, but no success. I asked them if it was a clean title they stated that it was. I ran a carfax and only 3 reports came up. All the reports are from 2011, and it’s a 2007 government owned SUV. Not sure if government vehicles are not registered. On the title it states the car lot as the only owner. The carfax reports only state it being sold at auction to the car lot. I just don’t want drive 1000 plus miles for a rebuilt vehicle. Thank you in advance.

Not sure if I’m being paranoid or is their something weird with this.
It does have 70k miles. I was also worried about it not having any history on carfax, besides the 3 from this year. Thanks again.
